DSP Invests for the Future with a Major Equipment Expansion
DSP is proud to announce its greatest investment in new capital equipment in its history. 2009 marks a significant step ahead for DSP as we further add to our existing high quality processes and ISO/HACCP certifications which have made a name for us in the marketplace.
President, Lionel Ector, sees this expansion as the logical next step in the evolution of DSP. "This expansion only makes sense for DSP from the perspective of further differentiating us as a top quality processor serving the high demands of the food processing industry. It allows us to serve our existing customers even better, in a timelier manner with higher quality product and do additional services for these and newer customers as well."
Specifically we have made significant investments in 3 areas:

New High-Speed Large Bag Automated Weighing, Bagging and Robotic Palletizing Equipment. With this improvement we have the capabilities to increase quality, produce larger volumes and provide a wider variety of bag types/sizes.
 
- Latest Sortex Technology in the Industry. In this day and age DSP understands the importance of high quality, safe and A1+ quality food ingredients for you and your customers. Through this latest technology, we can offer the cleanest possible product in the industry.
 
- Additional Cleaner & Air Screen. Further adding to our cleaning capacities DSP has added additional air screen and sifting/scalping.
The top screen removes product larger than the desired seed. The "scalped off" material exits the front of the machine, while the good product falls through the screen. Trash, weed seeds, foreign material, and splits drop through the bottom sift screens while the good product passes over them. This machine is positioned immediately before bagging as second clean for all splits and dust so only the whole clean product will be packaged.
